"For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." I Thessalonians 4:16-17
The belief that our Savior will soon return to take us out of the world to "ever be with the Lord" is the blessed hope of all the redeemed. It is a major source of comfort for suffering believers. (Full Life Study Bible)
I am confident that my Lord will come for me. As a believer, I am confident and waiting on His return for me, Peggy. I am watching and remaining sober as His Word has instructed me.
