Personal Relationship With God

Today, as we read the newspapers and listen to the news, we are reminded that we are in a recession. The word recession means, "a period of an economic contraction, sometimes limited in scope or duration". God has established a way for His children to have abundance in times like this. Establishing a relationship with God involves submission. This submission requires us to surrender all to him. This submission which starts with each of us personally, involves us first accepting Jesus as our Lord; acknowledging that we are sinners and asking him to forgive us; and asking Him to be our Lord.

To begin establishing your personal relaltionship with God; pray this simple prayer:

Father God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. Your Word says, "Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts 2:21). I am calling on You. I invite you into my heart and to be Lord over my life according to Romans 10:9-10. "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, throu shalt be saved. I do now confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. Lord Jesus, I receive you as Savior and follow You as Lord, and I receive Your salvation by faith in Jesus' name. Amen
